Bassett family
FATHER KELLY BASSETT is the hotel's resident musician. He can play guitar, saxophone and accordion, but his favourite instrument is the piano. The hotel has a gorgeous full-sized concert grand, which he loves to play while his colleague, Grace, sings for the hotel guests.
MOTHER SHIRLEY BASSETT (born BENTLEY) is the housekeeper at the Grand Hotel in Sylvania. This detailed set includes everything she needs to help keep the hotel spic and span, with a vacuum cleaner, dustpan & brush, dustbin, and a whole host of cleaning accessories. She is a very organised and methodical lady, quite the opposite of her whimsical husband, Kelly, who is the Grand Hotel's resident musician, and a bit of a daydreamer!
BROTHER CHARLIE BASSETT loves school and his teachers. Charlie adores maths and the magic of numbers.
SISTER CARLOTTA BASSETT and Gregory Cheshire have the leading roles in the school play. The play takes place at the end of each year at Berry Grove School and is the highlight of the school calendar for pupils and parents.
SISTER CHARLENE BASSETT is a very competent violin player and she has the ability to soothe and calm a person in distress.
